We created a new agency structure in 2001. And it's been successful ever since.
This business structure was developed with clients at the centre of our thinking (we're marketers after all!).
It is a small core team...
Who work closely together and understanding the how's, why's and the history of the client. Our core team ensures that quality and delivery are maintained and our business is kept strong and focused.
To make this work, we have also:
- built up a resource-pool of partner companies and freelancers
- developed our own, bespoke internal IT systems for project management and billing
- utilised the latest software for design, build, production and deployment
- embraced (and built our own) web technologies to give us greater work collaboration and faster turnaround
Creating a low overhead business model
If 2009-10 has taught anybody anything, it is that a fluctuating marketplace such as ours can completely nose-dive in a recession. With Active only having a core team on the payroll... and having reduced our business costs to the minimum, we're still trading - unike many of our competitors. A great comfort for clients who depend on us regularly. And for future clients looking for a long term partnership.

Because the core team are hands on, it means we are immediately aware (and can implement/invest in) the systems, processes and technologies needed to keep the business at the top of our game. This has been key to our success over the last 9 years.
